Are Zip drives comfortable to install for back up? Do they usually come near instructions? Do they connect to the extra drive connector in the PC tower or to the mother board?
About Zip drives?
backup might be easier with usb memory sticks or cd/dvd burners. fastener drives are pretty much useless these days. they never really worked ably, they weren't reliable, they were slow and own very predetermined capacity compare to today's technology. if you own one already and you're simply trying to use it, you'll have to download the program to run it, first. they usually plug within to your parallel port - your printer port - or your usb port, depending on the version.
Zip drives are predominantly suitable for sending very immense files over the internet. For backup you would be much better off to buy an external tough drive. They are USB connected, pretty easy to use, and are not really expensive.
