Can a background jack work if it is terminated as 568b, & pacth panel is 568b. But patch cable is 568a?

Help me settle a debate. I say aloud, when we test this facts jack it will fail. But, my partner say it will still work. Again, the horizantal pathway is all 568b. But, the patch cable on the tester is 568a. HELP?

Can a background jack work if it is terminated as 568b, & pacth panel is 568b. But patch cable is 568a?

It will work... and here's why... the pathway is alike on both sides. the patch cable is the same on both sides... grating traffic doesn't care what color flex it is travelling on... As long as the patch cable is 568a at both connectors and the horizontal pathway is 568b on both sides, you have a straight through bridle path.
Yes, it will work. The only difference between 568a and 568b is where on earth the pairs are located. In 568a the orange duo are on pins 3 & 6 and the green pair are on pins 1 & 2. In 568b it is lately the opposite. So as long as you hang on to the same shape from end to terminate your data will flow properly. In your crust your 568a patch cable will use the orange two of a kind to communicate with the green pairs on any side and vice-versa. Check out the link below for some more details.
