Can a tricky disk crash due to overheating?

hi

i own got a 8 month matured pc but the principal hard disk which runs the window is about 5 years feeble,my system just restarts when i play graphics intensive games and sometimes does not even boot.i am sure it is overheating but cant numeral out whether it is the graphics card, hard disk or the motherboard or perchance something else?any help will be appreciated.

Can a tricky disk crash due to overheating?

I've never hear of overheating hard-disks in my IT time, not even hard-disks > 300 GB. So u'r problem is not overheating. All u got here are Ram memory problems. Change the position of the Ram cards in slots. In the worst casing reinstall Windows. Good Luck!
Yes, overheating can cause problems. Try dusting inside the covering.
first thing i would do is whip it to an air compressor and 'blow' out adjectives the crumbs, dust etc from the ststem, then you can get hold of a small fan valid cheap and let it blow right on the adherent ports,i have 2 systems running, the dsl modum sitting right here adjectives togater in one spot, but own a 15 inch about 5 foot away running on slow that is other own blowing on all the equiment at once, seem to be working, never had any problem at adjectives
ya, it may be due to overheat, try to use a fan effective hard disk

otherwise it may be lead to of bad tracks surrounded by ur hard disk because ur hdd is 5 years feeble.
