Where is it located within my computer and how can I tell if I own one?
6 pin power connector for graphics cards?
It is called the pci express power connector and if you own one it will be a cable that extends from your power supply.
Do not worry if you do not hold one, every card I've seen that requires it also comes next to an adapter so that you can convert the regular 4 pin power connector to the 6pin pci express connector.
Well typically unless your computer is less than a year outdated I would imagine your power supply is not even equipped beside the 6pin connector. And typically only newer video cards such as Nvidia Geforce 8800 or a elevated power consuming video card needs such a connector. And most video cards that own them are very evident where it plugs into. Unless you hold high-end graphics card or new power supply you won't even enjoy it or have any use for it.
