Adequate Computer Specs for Video/Audio Production PC? Suggestion for Video Card?

Adequate yes... you should be able to work within Video/Audio production with that device assuming you add a video card.

Now chitchat video card, really what you need depends on what you plan on doing, but for modest, the ATI x1600 should do and be fairly stable. I'd recommend no smaller amount than 256mb video memory, but the more the merrier.

If you're wanting to have Vista on the system, the x1600 will still do for you, but the newer ATI FireGL cards would be better.

Just a friendly little suggestion, procure a second monitor and run a side by side screen configuration. When doing any form of ocular arts on computers it really helps to enjoy that expanded desktop.
