I'm a musician who uses finale, pro tools, and garageband. Along next to it I store thousands of songs in itunes. I will also have need of to use it for school work and the internet. I want to gain some opinions on whether to buy the macbook pro, or the brand strange iMac.
Apple macbook pro or latest iMac?
get the macbook pro. it is more consequently enough to knob what u want to do with it.

I just get the MacBook Pro. Mainly because I need to do deeply of video work and need a portable platform. It have been nought but heaven working next to this machine... if glory gets hot once within a while.
If you dont want to be able to steal a laptop and sit in bed or pilfer it on trips then GO WITH THE iMACS. There are so sick. You will enjoy a larger screen for editing and a larger hd for music and pro apps hold up a lot of room also. Anything near a core 2 duo over 2.2 is SO fast so I would step with the 2.2 or 2.4 for what ever you choose. The exotic iMac have adjectives good review and dolefully being a macbook pro owner they are AWESOME but in that are some negitives to them. Don't get my wrong I am not adage iMacs are perfect (but they are close to it.)
