Athlon 64 X2 4000+ (65nm, 2.1GHz, 65W, 1MB total steadfast L2 cache, 2000MHz HyperTransport bus, socket AM2) ?

So is this two 2.1 GHz processors or purely two processors at half the speed running at 2.1 GHz together? Thanks!

You cant receive two processors running half a speed to attach up to the total. It has to be respectively totaled to 2.1 GHz so in total you own 4.2GHz but not really because each processor will do different things so technically you hold 2 x 2.1GHz ... confusing?
two processors at full speed
It's 2 processors running at 2.1 ghz running in parallel
yes it is a dual core processor, two cores both running at 2.1Ghz. they don't supply up they act as two 2.1ghz processors and applications and tasks are calculated separately, but they are working together.
