Are apple macs better for producing music than the pc/laptop/desktop?

I hold just purchased a soundcard and other hardware to work on my songs, that have come bundled with cubase LE (which i'll upgrade at some point), but I am latest to this and feel moderately out of my depth at the moment trying to grasp all these bright concepts! I've been advise not to use the internet on the computer I'm using for music, so I am thinking of getting a new one, but I'm not sure which is most suitable - and user friendly for producing music on.

Are apple macs better for producing music than the pc/laptop/desktop?

It depends on the spec of the computer, mac and window can produce the same music but mac have more software to produce quality music.
PCs are across the world better performaning computers simply because Windows is a tougher OS to run, so from a performance stand-point, PC win. With hardware, the PC has the competency to run a sistercar-style soundcard, or a PCI soundcard, which will eliminate electrical clap during recording, which you can't go and get around with a MAC, so PC win the hardware fight. The one aspect MAC have going for it is that it comes bondled with a clad music editing program. For the bloated price of the MAC however, you can buy yourself a better pc and the required software for roughly speaking the same price and own a much better work station.
