Are near any motherboards that support both core 2 duo and quad core?

I am going to buy the E6850 chip as the price is MUCH lower than the top Quad-core chip and the see differences are neglible. ...however, as Quad Core support games are going to be released in the subsequent few years or so, I would hate to hold to buy a new computer to thieve full advantage of it. Are in that any motherboards that support the 1333MHz FSB and are easily upgradeable to a quad-core chip when the prices drop?

There sure are. I a moment ago did a quick check out on Newegg and came up next to this board from MSI that's got the NForce 650i chipset, get good reviews, and isn't too expensive at $150

Oh yeah in that are plenty of them.

Here is a listing from Newegg for the Intel Quad and Core 2:

Intel made sure to fashion the chipset and pin count the same for backwards compatibility.
Just form sure you get one next to the Intel P35 chipset, as it will not only support the current quad cores, but the subsequent generation ones as economically that come out next year. Oh and in recent times so you know, the Core 2 Quad Q6600 is about $10 cheaper right immediately than the E6850, in crust you really do want the quad core.
