After installing the mobo, the green oil lamp of the mobo keeps lightning, what manner the mobo is in the stand by mode and I can’t catch it out of it.
I get mobo green oil lamp when power is applied, then the beginnings of post when power switch is pressed (case and CPU fan spin up, HD spins up, CD seeks) and within it sits. Leave it on, & all the components acquire warm, but nil changes. The mobo is contained by the standby mode and nothing else happen.
I've tried clearing the RTC (several seconds & up to a few minutes); tried a clean CMOS battery (and departed it out for extended periods).
*no visible signs of make worse, caps or otherwise
*powers up resembling a champ, HD spins up, CD-rom seeks but no post/no video
*no smoke, burned smell, nil looks out of place
*all jumper checked and in non-attendance settings
How to solve this?
ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe problem?
is your video onboard or offboard
and check your ram (most credible the problem is bad hit or incompatible ram)
Are you getting any beeps at adjectives? they will give you an indication of where on earth the problem lies.
I would start with removing ALL hardware except the CPU and memory. Remove the drives also. See if you achieve a different beep tone. If you do not, next remove the CPU and memory 1 at a time and listen for a different beep tone. If you remove both of them, and the mobo still sits at hand and does nothing, they replace the mobo.
If you achieve different beep tones after removing hardware, later you have found the problem, and replace that quantity.
