1] Most laptops enjoy a video out in any RCA or S-Video

2] Use the right cable i.e. (Depends on laptop and you TV or video) i.e. SVideio-to-SVideo, RCA-to-SVideo, SVideo-to-RCA.

3] Plug it in to (for example) and input on your TV and select that culvert

4] Press Fn+ Some other key that looks similar to a TV screen a few times or right click desktop\properties\settings afterwards select your 2ND video output device accordingly
Your laptop must hold the legacy RCA Video output or S-Video output. And your TV set should hold the RCA Video input (yellow) or S-Video input.



And of course, an RCA or S-Video cable (any length will do).



Then configure your laptop to signal out to TV.
