2nd monitor on laptop?

I am trying to hook up 2 monitors to my laptop( which is docked ), one is a tv for window media center and the other is only a monitor.

My problem is that there is with the sole purpose 1 vga output on my laptop.

I'm also using Vista so I can't use a media extender unless I hold xbox 360 - I don't.

I've seen some external usb video cards, but I don't know whether it could switch video on a 30 inch tv

thanks for any solutions - I'm kinda desperate, I granted to be smart and wait until a week since I head sour to school...

2nd monitor on laptop?

i regard as u need SLI ports to run more than one monitor along beside 2 video cards so i think you entail 3 SLi ports and 3 video cards
if the computer has a S-Video output you can use that
Yes,it is posbbile.Im doing it near my tv.Using it to watch DVDS for my guest to monitor me play games :D,But what ever you want to use it for is up too you.You can buy one at any computer store, but it will be around the $20 range,or bring one on eBay.But heres what you need:http://cgi.ebay.com/new-vga-y-splitter-c...
