Any agency to increase the manners of my system to better play H264 files?

I own coreAVC and I am using Media Players Classic, but when trying to play a 1280x720 H264 file, the CPU usage remains around 100 percent, which when it remains at 100 percent, it get the audio off sync next to video. I have zilch else running at the time, so that would not work (including things that would load at startup and run within the back round). I own a 1.7 GHz processor, 1 GB of ram, and a video card beside 64MB of memory. Is there anyway I can remodel my performance so that it remains a bit beneath 100 percent and not have any problems. Thank you.

For your info H.264 is a Video Codec, which uses sophisticated compression rates. H.264 contains a number of different features that allow it to compress video much more effectively than older standards and to provide more flexibility for application to a far-reaching variety of gridiron environments

U need big end hardware for playback as processing power is needed for smoother playback...

Do rate if this helps...
Upon the release of Mac OS X tiger, H.264 be introduced. If you are on a mac with OS X 10.4 or difficult, it's probably your graphics card not being up to speed near the format. If you have a window machine, remember that h.264 is relatively brand new and will not work on most computers.
