(one of my trial questions) How are the Dual-Core Athlon chipsets different than other pentium class chipsets?
A. They do not contain a front side bus.
B. They do not contain a Back side bus.
C. They do not contain a North bridge
D. They do not contain a south bridge.
Amd vs Pentium Chipsets?
It would be A, they do not have a front side bus, they use a HyperTransport instead. Now surrounded by all honesty, that point is somewhat debateable because profusely of people would call for a HyperTransport a front side bus, but that is the answer they are looking for because, because the chipsets definately contain B,C, and D.
b. bsb be first used by intel pen- pro.cpu to L2 communication.
d. the dual core athlon chips use the old northbridge.
